DNA Commitment Form
2 Cor 3:17-18: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
God has called us to a life of being transformed into His image and of loving one another. As we make this commitment, we recognize God is far more committed to us than we are to Him and to each other. We need His grace and we need to extend His grace. We are not looking for mistake-free groups, but gospel-saturated family where we watch Jesus reign in our beauty and redeem our brokenness, individually and together for His glory.
I commit to:
- To participate consistently in corporate, Sunday worship at City Church Eastside
- To pursue the desired outcome DNA Group, with the Lord's help I will:
- COMMIT TO A DNA GROUP: I commit to join DNA for the 2026-27 year.
- ATTENDANCE: I commit to consistent attendance.
- Absences affect all participants, DNA cannot function as a drop-in group.
- The beauty of a small group is that you are able to find a regular time that works for everyone as well as some flexibility if you need to find a make-up date on occasion.
- DO THE WORK: I commit to completing assignments.
- Otherwise it's like watching an exercise video, expecting to get fit.
- TRUST MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS:
- I commit to building trust.
- What is said in the group, stays in the group.
- We acknowledge trust takes time to build and vulnerability can never be forced. We are here to support and encourage each other as God transforms us.
- TRUST MY LORD: I commit to trusting Jesus. Thankfully God loves us and has the power to change and help us. The Holy Spirit will decide what, when, and how you need to change. Trust his good work in you. Let's look for Him and look to Him together.
